Howdy from Tucson, Arizona. The Lady Aggies are playing in a tournament tomorrow on the University of Arizona campus, McKale Center. The 'tournament' is only 2 teams now - us and U of A - down from 4. So, they'll play a best of 5 in the morning, break for lunch and then come back and play another best of 5 in the afternoon. First serve is 10am. Look for the tailgater's blue canopy! We've gone across state lines!! My fingers are crossed that a camera made it with the crew - I, of course, forgot mine.
Next up is the return to the Houston tournament, April 11-13th at the Texas Tornados facility. This is going to be a HUGE deal. The teams: Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Kansas State, Louisiana Lafayette, New Mexico State, New Orleans, Notre Dame, Oklahoma,Penn State, Rice, South Florida, SMU, Stephen F. Austin, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, UTEP, UTSA, Texas State, Tulane, Southern California,West Point, and Wichita State. Tournament information, tickets, directions and so on can be found on their website. NMSU is the featured match on Friday the 11th against Oklahoma.
That's it for now - I'll update tomorrow afternoon on the U of A tourny.

(Here's hoping Blogger doesn't think I'm spam! LOL)
So much to cover!
First and foremost, our very own Debby Baker now has a college volleyball program of her own. She was selected as the new head coach for Southern Utah University. She's been up there for a couple of weeks now. I'm hoping she has an amazing time there. I'll be looking forward to seeing SUU on our schedule!
Nextly, congratulations are in order for Coach Jordan and his girlfriend..WAIT...scratch that..fiance, Jennifer! They'll be taking the plunge this summer.
Now, for some volleyball news. No schedule yet (Coach...if you're reading this...) but so far we do know we've got some amazing teams on the horizon, including Stanford. There are a couple big tournaments lined up. I'll let you out of town Aggies know when and where.
Spring ball is taking the team to Tucson for the Arizona Tournament on Saturday, March 29th. I believe it all starts at 9am. Remember, spring ball isn't like fall. If I remember correctly, usually there are only 2 games played. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I'll be out there with some of the tailgater faithful. (And, yes, I'll actually be able to catch a little spring baseball as well.) I beleve they are also heading to Houston but I don't have any info on that. (Coach...if you're reading...)
Here's hoping your spring is going well!
