Blogger continues to eat my posts. I don't understand why but I've emailed them a couple of times - haven't heard anything back.
In the meantime, please join me over at BleedCrimson.net as I'm blogging there.

WOW!!! Now this would be a game that I wish had been on Aggie Vision or some other type of video. It sounded absolutely amazing!
NMSU won in 3 over San Jose State just now: 30-22, 30-28 and 30-28. The last game was a huge come from behind win with Krista Altermatt bringing home the winning point with an ace.
Let's see what Coach has to say in the post-game!
Need to work on some sideout patterns, attackers didn't put the ball away, a couple of players didn't seem competitive tonight, Krystal and Jordan were great, no reason for us to give up points in bunches, stop giving up the big runs, winning long rallys can take pressure, Krista and Lindsey - 14 kills - played well, Kim sparked the comeback in game 2, Brynja's getting better - making young mistakes but Kim's stepped up and helped the setters.

Game 4
NMSU 30
Utah State 23
We'll see what the stats say...and what Coach has to say as well.
In the meantime, I forgot smething about Coach - from his bio at nmstatessports.com (which really needs to be updated)"As an assistant volleyball coach at Utah State in 1996 and 1997, Jordan helped to greatly improve a program that, when he arrived in 1996, had finished the previous season with an 0-30 record. Utah State ended the 1997 season with an 18-15 mark and received an invitation to the Big West Tournament for the first time in school history. In two seasons, USU won more games (25) than the prior six years combined (22)."

Well - it's an interesting game so far. We're up 2 games to none, 30-24 and 31-29.
Game two was a little...uhm...iffy? A lot of mistakes were made but somehow they pulled it off. What is it with us and game 2?
Keep your fingers crossed - nice storm cell rolling in on us and I don't think it would be a good idea to sacrifice the computer to lightening just for the sake of watching!

What an amazing win for the Aggies! Yes, it was non-conference but it was an important win. Utah has had a tough schedule this year - losing to No. 5 UCLA to open the season. They also lost to Dayton who is currently No. 16, before beating No. 17 Purdue. Two other losses came at the hands of No. 4 USC and No. 6 Florida.
According to the Sun News report, Coach Jordan said it was the best serving match of the year. Krystal and Kim both had 3 aces.
Krystal also had 26 digs, Kim with 12 kills. Krista had a good night, getting her 7th double double - 18 kills and 10 digs. Lindsey came up with her 8th double double with 11 kills and 15 digs as well as 2 aces.
Tonight - they face Utah State. The match will be on AM 570. I'll post back if there's video available anywhere.

GRRRR!!! C'mon Blogger! Stop eating my posts! Guess I'll have to make my own copy of my blogs for now on.
Anyhow - if you aren't on the road with the team, tune into your computer tonight and watch the match for free!
It's a busy sports night here in Casa de Brooks. Volleyball, MLB playoffs - AL and NL. I'll watch the volleyball - with random checks of the Cubs/D-backs game. So, c'mon Lady Aggies - take 'em in 3!! We're going to experiment with the computer feed to the big screen tonight to see how it works. It worked pretty well with my MLB online subscription. We have to test-drive it so we're ready for the Hawaii game in a couple of weeks. I need to figure out where that game is going to be broadcast.
LET'S GO AGGIES!!!
